How This Was Calculated

❄️ Freezer Space — Made Simple

One of the most common questions we get. Here is what you need to know before your beef arrives.

    Quarter Beef

Usually fits in your kitchen freezer bottom drawer (~4-5 cu ft). No extra equipment needed for most families.

    Half Beef

A small chest freezer (7-10 cu ft) works perfectly. Available at most hardware stores for $150-$250.

    Whole Beef

You will want a large chest freezer (15-20 cu ft) — or split it with a friend to bring the per-pound cost down even further.

    Shelf Life

Properly frozen beef stays fresh for 12-18 months. Most families enjoy it all well before then.
