
Whole Cow Deposit (reserves your share)
This deposit secures a Whole beef share from Back Acres Farm. It is applied 100% to your final invoice, which is calculated from the actual hanging weight recorded by the processor.
What to expect

Typical Whole: about 600 lb hanging, yielding roughly ~400 lb packaged (actual yield varies with the animal and your cut choices).

Processing charges (per-lb cutting/wrapping plus a $65 kill fee) are paid directly to Hampton Processing at pickup.

We’ll contact you within 1 business day to confirm your reservation, provide your processor date, and send the cut-sheet to choose steaks, roasts, and package sizes.
Payment & policies

Deposit becomes non-refundable once an animal and date are assigned.

If we’re unable to fulfill your order, we’ll refund 100% of the deposit.

You may transfer your reservation to a later date with 7 days’ notice (subject to availability).

Final balance (minus your deposit) is due before/at pickup.
Heads up: This is a deposit only (no sales tax collected on the deposit). Final pricing and any applicable taxes/fees are settled on the final invoice based on hanging weight.
