About Your Ground Beef

Our ground beef comes from a mix of lean cuts blended to an 80/20 ratio. Because it’s ground fresh from quality cuts rather than commercial trim, you’ll notice the flavor is richer and the texture is cleaner than anything from a grocery store.

The Perfect Skillet Brown

Heat skillet to medium-high. Add ground beef in a single layer — don’t crowd it. Season with salt and pepper. Leave it untouched for 3–4 minutes to develop a brown crust on the bottom. Break apart once the crust forms. Continue cooking until no pink remains. Internal temp 160°F.

Great Uses

Smash burgers (thin patties, high heat, smashed flat immediately), bolognese (low and slow in sauce for 2+ hours), tacos, meatballs (mixed with egg and breadcrumbs, baked at 400°F), shepherd’s pie, chili. The fat content handles all of these beautifully.
